Teams phone system is an add-on license for Microsoft 365. It adds a fully-featured suite of calling functionality to Microsoft Teams. Much like a traditional PSTN solution, it features auto attendants, call queues, voicemail, call parking, and group calling, all whilst having deep integration with the Microsoft 365 Suite.
The added benefit of the Teams Phone System is the ability to receive and make calls from anywhere and on any device such as Desktop, Mobile, and the Web-based Microsoft Teams application.
